SFI not a MLM site?
1
Hi Forum,
I have just been informed from a Web Hosting site, that my Website promoting SFI and also TripleClicks for nearly 2 years, have been shut down, because SFI is a MLM site.
This was the quote - "We do not allow MLM / Make Money style sites on our network. Because of this, your sites were shut down and the accounts disabled. Sorry this happened out of the blue.
Thank you!
Jeff G"
This all came about because I want to edit my email address, as I have change providers, which I ask for help from the Hosting Website.
So I can not find the information, that SFI is not a MLM site.
Can the Forum guide me where I can find this info, please.
Regards, Maxine

Hello Maxine O,
SFI is a MLM company - anytime that you are earning commissions from people you have enrolled in and going down in levels earning commissions as you go - it is known as a MLM company.
All your major chain stores work on the same principal and it is a money generating operation or the large companies would not be doing it. Such as Walmart, car dealerships, Taco Bell, and so forth.
When MLM companies are structured correctly like SFI is it is 100% legal and honest.
I would say it is better to get your self a new web host - don't use blogger.com from Google they will shut down SFI blogs after letting them run for a while.

Hi Maxine ,
Multi-level marketing (MLM) is a marketing strategy in which the sales
force is compensated not only for sales they generate, but also for the
sales of the other salespeople that they recruit. This recruited sales
force is referred to as the participant's "downline", and can provide
multiple levels of compensation.

SFI is a MLM by definition. I think of us as more of a hybrid. We can recruit teams, but it is not a "Have To".

Because there are so many scamming MLM's it gives the legit one's a bad name too. SFI does NOT rely on recruiting others to make money. You can make a living by affiliate marketing and never recruit a sole. This is what makes SFI a valid business!

Sounds like a really
bad hosting company. You should let us know who it is so we can all
avoid them. But yes, as others have said, by definition, SFI fits the
mold of a multi-level marketing company. Having been involved with
several over the years, I do believe SFI has a unique spin on things and
is definitely in a league of its own though.
